FAQ
Questions, answered
The things you ask us most often, in the agency and on WhatsApp. If your question isn’t here, write to us: we reply during agency hours.
01 How do I book a trip with you?
Start wherever suits you: message us on WhatsApp, send an email or drop into one of our two agencies, in Milan or Assago. Tell us the idea — where, when, who’s travelling — and we come back with a proposal and a clear quote. Once you’re happy with it, we confirm it together and take care of booking flights, hotels and services. From then on you have one point of contact until you’re back home.
02 What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit and debit cards, bank transfer and PayPal. You can pay in the agency or remotely if you booked online or over WhatsApp — we’ll point you to the easiest channel for your booking. On some trips it’s possible to split the payment into instalments; that depends on the terms of the specific offer, so let’s discuss it when we set the quote. Either way, you always get written confirmation of every payment.
03 How do deposits and the final balance work?
As a rule, a trip is confirmed with a deposit and the balance is paid before departure. Amounts and deadlines aren’t the same for everyone: they depend on the operator, the type of trip and the terms of the specific offer. When we send you the quote, it already states what’s needed to confirm and when the rest is due — in writing. And when a deadline is coming up, we’ll remind you ourselves.
04 What travel insurance do you offer?
We offer the classic travel covers: medical and baggage, trip cancellation, and add-ons for specific needs such as sports or pre-existing health conditions. There’s no single policy that fits everyone: we help you choose based on destination, duration and type of trip, and we explain what is and isn’t covered before you sign. The exact conditions depend on the policy attached to the specific offer — we go through them together, in plain words.
05 Documents and visas: who helps me figure out what I need?
We do. When we prepare your proposal, we tell you straight away what your destination requires: ID card or passport, any visa, required vaccinations, rules for minors. We also point you to the official sources, such as the Italian Foreign Ministry’s travel advice site, so you can check the latest information. Travel documents remain the traveller’s responsibility, but you’re not left to work it out alone — we check together that everything is in order before you leave.
06 Can I cancel or change a booked trip?
Yes, but the conditions vary from trip to trip: charges, refunds and deadlines depend on the terms of the specific offer and on the rules of airlines and hotels. That’s why we put them in writing before you confirm, so you know from the start what changing your mind would involve. If you do need to change something, tell us as early as you can: we handle the paperwork, and we’ll suggest cancellation insurance where it makes sense.
07 What is Blu&Club and what is it for?
Blu&Club is the loyalty programme of the Bluvacanze network we’re affiliated with. By joining, you get an app that keeps your travel documents at hand and gives you member benefits. For us it’s mainly a way to make departure day easier: nothing to print, no last-minute email hunting — everything is on your phone. We set it up when you book; if you’d like to know more, ask us in the agency or on WhatsApp.
08 Do you organise group trips?
Yes. We organise departures for groups of friends, extended families, clubs and companies: we take care of flights, accommodation, transfers — and of balancing everyone’s needs. A group moves at a different pace than a trip for two, so it pays to start early, especially for the most popular dates. Tell us how many of you there are, where you’d like to go and when: we build the proposal around the group, not the other way round.
09 Do you organise honeymoons and wedding registries?
Yes — and it’s one of the trips we most enjoy building. We start from how you picture the honeymoon — beach, itinerary, or a bit of both — and prepare a tailor-made proposal, with the care a trip like this deserves. We can also open a honeymoon registry: family and friends contribute to the journey instead of buying gifts, and you follow everything with us in the agency. Come in and let’s talk it through, no rush.
10 How do last-minute deals work?
Last-minute deals are departures close to the travel date at special conditions: perfect if you’re flexible on destination and dates. They change quickly, sometimes within hours, so the best way not to miss them is to tell us in advance what you’re after — budget, days available and the kind of holiday you want. When something matching comes up, we’ll let you know; availability then has to be confirmed at the moment of booking.
11 Agency package or DIY online: why book through you?
When you book everything yourself, each piece of the trip is a separate booking: if a flight falls through, the rest doesn’t adjust on its own. With us, the trip is one file looked after by people who answer: a clear quote, cover explained before you sign, a contact who knows your situation. And if something goes wrong, you don’t spend your holiday on hold with a call centre — we deal with operators and suppliers for you.
12 What assistance do I get while travelling?
You don’t drop off our radar the day you leave. If a flight is cancelled, a hotel isn’t what was promised or plans need to change mid-trip, you contact us and we handle it with the operators and suppliers. On the Blu&Club app you have your travel documents with you at all times. The kind of assistance also depends on the terms of the specific offer: we explain it before you leave, so you know who to call and when.
